Once upon a time, Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar, a visionary leader, fought tirelessly for the rights of the downtrodden and marginalized communities in India. His unwavering commitment to social justice and equality paved the way for many of us to access the best education in our own country.
As beneficiaries of his long crusade, we must acknowledge the debt we owe to this great leader and do our part to honor his legacy. Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar firmly believed that education was the key to unlocking the full potential of an individual and a society. He himself pursued education relentlessly, becoming the first Indian to earn a doctorate in economics abroad.
Today, we are in positions of privilege and power because of the sacrifices and struggles of leaders like Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar. It is our responsibility to pay it forward and support those who are still denied access to education and opportunities.
Let us join hands in this noble mission to create a more just and equitable society for all. As Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar said, “Educate, Agitate, and Organize.” Let us carry on this great tradition and work towards a brighter future for all.
